"If you are travelling to York parking is an issue, but that is the same in all cities to be fair. Be prepared to pay £30 per 24 hours for Q-Park, it’s out of the hotel’s control, but a factor to consider when visiting York for any hotel without a guest car park.
That said, the hotel’s location could not be better for a tourist type stay, you really are in the middle of things and being pedestrianised it is lovely and quiet - except early morning, when trucks are making their deliveries!

"Property in a quiet area was nice and about 10 mins from town centre.
Did meet a gentleman who gave us our keys to our room but did not see anybody else maybe because we were out most of the time,parking was ok,on aroad in front of hotel,and seemed to be safe. The room was nice and clean and had s good shower."
