"Room was huge, spotless, and nice. Was a little perturbed by the number of giant hornets I saw, but that's the mountains in fall for you. Really historic and beautiful place. Food options within the hotel were strange and annoyingly expensive - I get that it's a 5 star hotel but not everyone wants to shell out a ton of money to eat there and it's one of the furthest hotels from the main parts of town so it feels exploitative of a captive audience. "The stay at Couscous was absolutely spot on! Beautiful glamping resort in the quiet town of Manazuru. It has good connection links to the main station if odawara. Perfect for exploring the Hakone region of Japan. The tents were very well equipt with fans, heating, usb's. Outside there was incredible decking areas with BBQs, and a large table and chairs. The site itself was extremely clean and the toilet and shower areas were always spotless and very modern. Overall I would 100% recommend this...

"This was a beautiful property. Everything was clean, updated, and easy to find. The host left a very helpful instructional booklet describing how to use all of the amenities, and even instructions on how to best prepare the food. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would love to stay here again!!"
