"My reservation was guaranteed for 3:00 PM check-in. I arrived at 3:15 PM and my room was not ready. While one of the desk clerks was very apologetic, I had to wait until 3:40 before my room was ready; that is not acceptable. It really is a bare bones hotel where the only amenity is a coffee machine in the lobby. While the price point is modest, I will never stay there again."

"This is our go to hotel when we are in town for work. This last trip, the female front desk clerk that was checking us in was horrible. We are not sure if she was overwhelmed but her attitude made us so uncomfortable. On top of that we booked a King (which we paid more for) and she put us in a double bed. We tried to call & get it switched but no one picked up. We also went back down to rectify the issue but the hotel was hosting an event and the lobby was full. We decided to contact Expedia....

"Beautiful hotel in an excellent location for our visit to Philadelphia. We lucked into a top floor corner room, and had amazing views of the river. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Bryan at check-in, and we loved James at the hotel bar. The hotel has a gorgeous pool and sundeck, which was a big hit with the kids in our group. "This hotel would be great, but they have a serious problem with their key card system — either staff doesn’t know how to program them correctly or there is a programming problem. Regardless, we needed to get our room keys reprogrammed repeatedly for a one night stay. Also, downtown Philadelphia has a serious homelessness challenge so the area including feels a bit like it’s in lockdown including the hotel. Finally the hotel pool is no longer in use, but is hidden behind shades along with another...

"Everything was fine. We didn’t get to use the amenities. We were here for the weekend and attending Wharton graduation. We did request extra towels for your room and took over an hour and 3 phone calls And our room was never cleaned. Maid service knocked on our door at 430pm and we were about to get ready for dinner. So definitely needs to be done earlier in the day. Elevators took forever …. Didn’t seem like the hotel was that busy. So not too sure why that is. Otherwise the stay was...
