"After our longest walk on the 4 day Queen Charlotte Track, this resort was a delight to end with. The room was comfortable and the shower hot. They had a lovely bar area for a pre-dinner drink and dinner was delicious. We found the water conservation and rainwater use fascinating and applaud their efforts. We were a little concerned about the long downhill on the road to get to the lodge from the track knowing we had to go up the next day. Imagine the wonderful surprise when the front desk...

"After our first day walking the Queen Charlotte Track, the place was an oasis! The room was lovely, the shower perfect and dinner was delicious. They provided a bag lunch on request for our next day. They work well with the cougar line and our bags were in our room when we arrived. It is a lovely resort in a picturesque setting. "

"The staff were incredibly helpful. One of them, in Picton before we got on the ferry, told us how to see the bioluminescence, which was fantastic. The young man who took us around to feed the animals and the marine biologist who told us about the marine life on the viewing platform were incredibly knowledgable.
