"Luxurious and friendly resort! Loved it"

"The staff was absolutely lovely. The Inn has a complimentary wine and cheese spread from 1730-1830. The hotel staff is on hand and its a great way to get to know fellow travelers and the staff themselves. My friend and I went both nights we were there and talked with Dave, one of the owners and the second night we spoke with Shawn (spelling?) We talked of books and going to Connecticut, to Yale and Mystic for Pizza. "

"They are pros @ hospitality from the front desk to activities. Clean everywhere.Comfortable beds,room,communal & quiet spaces,& a great breakfast & dinner in their cozy restaurant. We had a suite,so a longer stay would have been easy. S'mores around the fire pits was a bonus, as the snow lightly fell. Festival weekend,but will consider adding time for a more relaxed trip & time to read by the scenic views of VT "

"Room was clean, spacious and quiet. We had an amazing view and were warmly greeted by the staff. Upon check-in we were informed that they were proactively moving our stay to another building because of problems that had been reported. Thankful for their foresight so we didn't have to endure any issues whatsoever! Check-in and parking were extremely easy with the instructions provided via email. Would definitely recommend a stay at the Jackson Gore Building. "

"The owners (Heather and Jared) work extremely hard to make sure everyone enjoys their stay. Breakfast was excellent! Heather prepares a made to order breakfast for each guest every morning. We also decided to have dinner at The Vic Tavern. It's an extremely popular place so make reservations early. Once again, the food was exceptional. Allow at least 90 minutes for dinner because it's not a fast food or chain restaurant. It's supposed to be a relaxing, enjoyable meal. The Inn itself is...
