"The property is still in the process of renovating from a Holiday Inn to their voco brand. There are several floors that are still needing painting/wallpaper. The hotel is within walking distance to shopping. The staff is very friendly and the food at the restaurant is very tasty. I was only here for one night pre-cruise and found it to be convenient to the cruise terminals."

"Really nice experience with my family on a mini break. Super friendly and helpful staff and the Spa was lovely. Food and drink options are great, room was nice and the breakfast experience was first class with so much choice. "

"We had a lovely stay. The hotel room was ample, with furnishings catering to our needs. The view from our window over the cathedral was spectacular, and we appreciated the hotel's centrality; we could pop in and out as we needed. The price of the breakfast was a little steep; we only indulged once, but would have liked to more: there was a good range of healthy options available. I was really sorry to leave this excellent accommodation at the end of our holiday."

"Parking charge of £10 is unnecessary and should be included with room booking. Fire alarm went off 3 times as a false alarm which meant going up and down the stairs with luggage and kids as lift stopped working. The room with 2 double beds was spacious and clean The staff are great though. Particularly the lady that was on reception evening of 6 June kind and helpful. The waitress and waiter in the restaurant that evening were great too. Although the restaurant was quite busy they remained...

"Hotel was excellent. Clean, great beds very modern and well furnished. Only downside was that our rooms had a main road at he side which had a bit of noise. Don't let this be an issue though. Still great"
