"This is a really special hotel suffering from under-investment. The staff I met—from the front desk, to housekeeping, and the bar/restaurant—were all working hard. "The hotel is in a great location. We had a garden room and it was lovely being able to sit outside in the evening. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The room was big with a lively separate sitting area. The only negative is that some bits of the hotel seem a little tired but that was a minor point."
