This is a great choice for visiting Avignon. It is right across from the walled city and it’s super easy to walk to restaurants, coffee and the main sites. It’s on a main road but the hotel is quiet. It’s a modern hotel with great amenities - the pool and bar are cute, the restaurant is good (Cesar salad with chicken was nice), and the rooms are clean. The air conditioning works well - it’s up to American standards, which is great when it’s hot. Incredibly helpful staff! We had a few issues in Avignon and they were so helpful and kind with things like helping us place local calls and change reservations, a very late check out, etc. Great English skills but they will let you practice your French if you want. Honestly, you won’t regret choosing this.

Well located just outside the old city walls. Great for families. Excellent breakfast. Very clean room. Property is under renovation but that did not interfere with our stay.

Disliked: Staff & service
Unfortunately we did not have a good stay at this hotel. The air conditioning appeared to be working but failed to cool the room. Due to our late afternoon arrival this was only discovered when we went to bed. This resulted in a very uncomfortable sleep. When reported in the morning staff did not seek to rectify given that we were only staying one night. The location was good, close to Avignon centre. However I would not recommend this hotel when the weather is warm.

4/10 Poor

Disliked: Amenities
Unfortunately our 2 night stay was not pleasant, our room’s air conditioner was not functioning properly. The hotel did not have any other rooms supposedly from July 22-24. The only solution that Jimmy had was to use fans, it did help but no one came to look at the rooms (310) air conditioner. Our shower had an issue with the water pulsing hot and cold, with a loose drain. The good thing of the hotel is the location and very close to the Centre 5 min walk, unfortunately we just did not have good luck this time and our nights sleep was unpleasant especially in summer.
