In Uzès, quiet, loft in independent 18th century mill with 15mx3m swimming pool

"Die Mühle ist ein wunderschöner, liebevoll restaurierter und eingerichteter Ort, an dem man wunderbar zur Ruhe kommen kann und trotzdem alles in der Nähe hat, was man braucht. Marine ist eine sehr herzliche und aufmerksame Gastgeberin.Wir hatten die Mühle mit ihrem schönen Grundstück und dem Bach bewusst gewählt, da wir mit zwei Hunden reisen und es für uns der ideale Ort für einen Urlaub mit Hunden schien. Leider hatte eine Wildschweinfamilie mit Frischlingen ihren Liegeplatz in der Nähe der Wiese und war dadurch häufiger auf dem großen Grundstück unterwegs, ohne dabei Scheu zu zeigen – auch tagsüber. Dadurch kam es zweimal zu sehr unschönen Begegnungen. Marine hat uns bei diesem Problem jederzeit unterstützt, trotzdem ließ sich die Situation leider nicht lösen.Wir mussten unsere Hunde aufgrund der Wildschweine durchgehend angeleint lassen, das war leider nicht ganz der entspannte Hundeurlaub, den wir uns erhofft hatten."

"Super vakantie gehad. Schoon, goede bedden, mooie tuin met fijn zwembad. Enige nadeel was het aantal ligbedden aan het zwembad, 4 bedden voor 8 personen is echt te weinig."

"We had a fantastic family stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this holiday home. The location is excellent – close enough to walk into the beautiful centre of Uzès, making it easy to enjoy the restaurants, markets and evening strolls without needing the car.The house was perfectly suited to our family with young children and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our favourite feature was definitely the swimming pool, which was a huge hit with the kids and the perfect way to cool off after exploring the area.Despite the summer heat, the house stayed pleasantly cool, making it a lovely place to relax during the hottest part of the day. The host was also incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived.It was an ideal base for exploring the region, with easy day trips to Arles, Nîmes, the Pont du Gard and many of the surrounding villages. We had a wonderful holiday and would happily stay here again."

"Helpful staff in all areas reception and bar. Thev breakfast was a bit off as a coach party were in at 6:30 am and had cleaned it out by 7:15. Evening food ok but not as good as we have had at other Logis de France. Again the hotel seems aim at the coach party market. Hotel fabric was a bit tired and needs an upgrade, bath replaced by shower, USB charging points, electric car points in car park etc. One note was that the bath towels were very thin."
