"This is our second stay at Uma House. This visit we stayed in the superior suite and it is must book. it was spacious, had two bathrooms, 1 king bed, one murphy bed that we could transform into a hang out area. Uma house is the perfect hotel in the perfect location. adding breakfast to your booking is a must. there’s an option for everyone. complimentary bikes during our stay, 2 beach chairs very close, and happy hour in the lobby from 5-6 everyday. the pool is peaceful and there’s ample areas to lounge and sit. this is our favorite hotel in south beach and i recommend it to everyone. exceeded expectations!"

"This is a great, old school Miami hotel. I want to preface this by saying I had a wonderful stay, and if I am back in South Beach, these are the first people I am looking up. Since this hotel was probably 90 years old, some of the facilities are a little worn. The floor sags, there's a little bit of wear to the carpets, and they had a plastic tarp over a hole in the ceiling due to leakage. If that bothers you, go spend twice the price of your stay at the Marriott down the street. If you want a beautiful, clean hotel that looks about how it would have in the 1960s, with very helpful staff, a nice restaurant, stay at this hotel. I would say you would make a better choice than any of the real heavy hitters. These folks do a great job. Long live the South Beach hotel, and it is my privilege to give five stars."
