"Lovely stay "

"Hotel was excellent. Clean, great beds very modern and well furnished. Only downside was that our rooms had a main road at he side which had a bit of noise. Don't let this be an issue though. Still great"

"Stayed at Lodge at Solent for a family wedding. The room we had was very pleasant but spoilt by the bleach stains & marks on the carpet. The room was very clean & there was a good shower. The bed was ok but bit harder than I would have liked We didn't have the continental breakfast but did have a meal in the bar on one of the evenings we stayed, I had the Hunters chicken. It was very average & not a large portion for the price. We found the staff very friendly & helpful."

"Lovely little spot to stop over for the night - nice evening meal (ham, egg and chips), followed by a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning. Comfy bed. Nice and tidy room - only issue was I’m 6ft and couldn’t really stand up in the bath fully for a shower ……….. maybe a check first of the persons height and if the room is right for them?"

"Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds . Property is beautiful- pictures shown are accurate. Lift! Very convenient walking distance to centre of Chichester, the Festival Theatre and other attractions but just at the edge of the pedestrian area so I could have a taxi pick me up in front when I left"

"Check in was easy and they had given us an upgrade which was a bonus. Room very comfortable and clean. Tea, coffee machine and proper milk. A very special treat were some sweet treats. Had an evening meal and both chose burgers which we enjoyed. Small menu but was ok. Excellent sleep in a huge bed, room very dark so slept in. Breakfast had a good choice that was cooked to order. Can recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast. All the staff were friendly and worked hard. Thank you"

"Lovely staff and nice hotel - clean and nice decor. There was a lack of staff on the bar, it was a Saturday evening and we had difficulty ordering food. The restaurant was full . We ordered bar food that took ages to arrive and was of very poor quality and cold ."
