Lovely hotel, it was clean and tidy, the staff were all fantastic, every member of the team we spoke to was friendly, engaging and seemed a happy place to work! The place is spotlessly clean, our room was a little dated but still clean. Breakfast was great, good selection and nice quality. The only downside was being charged an additional £30 to use the spa for the weekend

Lovely hotel, nice breakfast and beautiful garden with option to take a walk in the woods. Be aware if you don't book directly on the website, you will need to pay extra for spa and pool access which is a bit strange considering you are a guest in the hotel. Pool entry was also timed which is really not great but made sure there are no crowds in the pool.

Rooms were spacious, modern and clean. We didn’t use the spa due to only staying one night and the extra charge as booked through Expedia but if book direct, it’s included. Breakfast was £16.95 and worth it. Great choice. Lovely outdoor seating area. Beds comfy. Bathrooms good. Quiet location. All was good.

I had a wonderful stay at the Solent Hotel. From the moment I checked in, Sasha made the experience exceptional. She was incredibly accommodating, welcoming, and ensured I was given a lovely room. Thanks to her attention to detail and kindness, my two-day stay was comfortable and stress-free. Thank you, Sasha — you truly made my stay!

Great hotel and spa facilities. Shame about the TVs that have no TV guide facility due to them being linked into some daft hotel menu nonsense. The two rooms I stayed in also had screens that were failing and were almost entirely blue in tone due to the cheap outdated Samsung TVs that are in all of the rooms.
