"My husband grew up seeing this place and always wanted to stay here. So when he had to go back up to Michigan I thought it would be a nice surprise to book him a room here. First of all they said they had no rooms available. This was after booking the reservation (through Expedia). They all of a sudden managed to come up with a room - room 330 which was apparently akin to the janitor's closet. I *specifically* paid extra for a city view. "Very nice hotel and super friendly staff. The drinks at the rooftop bar were unique & very good. The meat tray- not so much."
