"We requested a special assisted room as my travelling partner is not able to walk far without the help of her mobility scooter.
We were located room quite far away from the reception and my struggle to get to our room.
The staff told us that Expedia did not pass on our requested for a disable person room.
This is not acceptable."
"Hotel was a bit dated however the room was clean, the bed comfortable and the location was quiet so got a good night's sleep. We did not eat breakfast, and dinner was not available so ate in the pub across the road then came back to the hotel and enjoyed their small bar. The hotel is handy for the motorway."
"The room, was nice and clean, lovely big bed, very comfortable, large screen tv.
The fridge contained, fresh milk ,
+ sachets of milk, there were a selection of Breakfast cereals, Kettle and teabags provided. The only badpoints were, the property was situated at a very busy crossroads, so lots of traffic noise, but quiet, as the evening went on, so had a very good nights sleep. The rooms are
above the pub, but no noise, also very covenient for a quiet drink, and for having a meal from their...
"I so want this place to succeed! It’s in the most picturesque village, but needs some TLC after a string of management changes. New team comes in August. The bedrooms are clean, small, very comfortable and well designed. Current staff are lovely, but they’re leaving in 2 weeks."
"Lovely clean room & the staff were all very helpful and friendly. The only thing to note was I had to ask for towels, because none were left out, but other than that we had a very lovely stay here and would definitely come back. Breakfast was fantastic, can't say anything negative about this place, it was a great over night stay. Thanks very much!"
"My wife and I had a fabulous 2 night stay. Our room was lovely, staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was first class. The bar was a lovely place to relax after a long day walking. We would definitely return for another visit. I have only one observation to feedback, and its minor. The decor in our bathroom was tired and needs looking at. The bathroom was clean and tidy, but paint work and fixtures were beginning to show their age."
"The greeting we got on arrival was extremely good, lovely lady who runs The Troutbeck Inn.
Great evening meal also, definitely stay again.
Thank you ."
