"My stay at the Kompost was unfortunately a bit mixed. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to find a roach in the room, and there were some unusual droppings in one of the drawers, which raised concerns about cleanliness. That said, there were definitely some positives—the breakfast was great, the bedding was comfortable, and I slept very well. The staff was also friendly and attentive, making sure my needs were taken care of throughout my stay."

"Room was clean except for the sheets. After a long work day, did not notice blood stains on sheets and pillows cases until the morning. notified front desk, they apologized and it was resolved when I returned to my room. "

I booked through Hotels.com which stated free parking, but at checkout they charged $60 for parking without any prior notice or consent. They also refused to provide an itemized invoice and asked me to contact the third party instead. Breakfast was particularly disappointing. Although it was advertised as available until 9:30 AM, it felt more like a first-come, first-served setup. Food items were stocked in very limited quantities, and if you arrived closer to 9:00 AM, most items were already gone. Even basic things like plates and utensils were sometimes unavailable, making it difficult to have a proper meal. Housekeeping was also not done at all during my 6-day stay, despite being told it would be provided every 3 days. Overall, lack of transparency and poor service. Would not stay here again."
