"Property and staff were lovely. But, the sargassum was so bad due to the location among the mangroves that the rotten smell permeated the whole property including our cabana. I know that’s completely out of the hotel"

"Breakfast area was not inviting, it was too dark. Definitely need an upgrade in a breakfast area. There was no one around when I walked in the breakfast area. The room was decent but could definitely do a bit more clean."

"Our room overlooked the ocean, the room was clean and spacious, and it had a fridge, some plates, and flatware and all the towels you needed. Also the safe came in handy to stash things we didn't want to carry around, although the Island is super safe. Staff was amazing and we had overall the best time. If I have to say one thing, the fridge was on the older side and was making a lot of noise...Perhaps it is time to upgrade.... Overall Island Magic Beach Resort was an amazing place to stay! "

"This was just a really nice and comfy place to stay. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again sometime."

"The villa was clean, updated, and very comfortable. The view and the pool is beautiful. The bar had awesome happy hour drinks every day, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. My only issue was we charged food and drinks to the room instead of paying upfront and without getting a receipt. At checkout the bill was enormous and I had nothing to tabulate the added costs. Lesson learned."

"Lovely staff, nice clean rooms, air conditioning worked great. Only thing giving this a 4* is the bed/pillows. I personally did not find the bed very comfortable and I like a thicker pillow. Other than that the place was amazing. Great location. "

"Pool was clean and perfect! The area was quiet, and host was so nice, the room was beautiful, but the bar was closed so it was a hit hard getting good & drinks, but beautiful place! I will def go back!"

"We had a wonderful stay at La Isla Resort in Caye Caulker. The location is excellent—close to everything, especially great restaurants, making it easy to explore the area on foot. The rooms were clean and comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the large veranda—it was the perfect spot to relax and sit out of the sun while still enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re visiting Caye Caulker!"

"A small hotel providing high quality service. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great room with sunrise-facing shared terrace and coffee machine in room. Comfortable bed. Amazing breakfast. In a quiet location near the Cathedral, historical Governor’s Gov’t House and downtown riverside restaurants"

"Amazing… if you are considering this place and questioning it, do it !! The food was absolutely amazing ( and I’m a picky eater ) the location absolutely amazing , it was so easy to get from the airport to here .. I was also hesitant on having lunch and dinner with everyone and it turned out to be so nice, I really enjoyed it ! "
