The property is clean. The area is safe. 7 min walk to the ferry terminal to go to Caye caulker and San Pedro. Michelle also does a cultural food tour which has food from the 4 main Belize cultures. The property is a 5 min walk to the museum which is a must see for $7usd. There is local cuisine...

In a quiet location near the Cathedral, historical Governor’s Gov’t House and downtown riverside restaurants"

"I personally didn’t like the surrounding areas but the hotel grounds were excellent. Most people know but there’s not many stores open on Sundays."

"Beautiful room, comfy bed - very clean. On-site restaurant was quite good, with very friendly staff & beautiful views of the city and sunset. Across the street from the water, but away from the noise of the city - 2 blocks from the Belize Museum. There was a little noise during the day, due to major construction - to add rooms, a pool and a workout gym - but never an issue at night."

"This hotel maintains the quaint character and decor of the area before big tourism came to Belize. Air conditioning was great - not too cold. Nice pool area nestled away from the bustle in the front of the building."

"Good for the price. But keep in mind this is a lower end place to stay. A bit strange in that you go up to 4th floor to check in. It’s more like a room rental than a hotel. We felt fairly safe but wouldn’t walk around at night. Onsite parking was important for us. "

"Property allowed us to check in late which was very kind of them. However, the property is old & run down. The hotel don’t choose their guests, but the ones next to us were extremely noisy with the TV on very loud leading to a poor night sleep due to the very thin walls & adjoining door not stopping any of the noise. Conveniently near the water taxis though"

"This hotel is located about 3-4 blocks from the main part of town (swinging bridge and Sprinter Ferries. The hotel worked fine once we figured out how the controller for the AC worked. We spent 3 nites there; 1 at the start and 2 at the end of out trip our 12 day trip to the cayes. Wondered around town, museums, etc. Not much going on in town. Tried to organize a SCUBA dive but that did not pan out as they always need a minimum of 4 people to go. Which is why we spent all our time out on the...

"We were diverted here for 1 night when the Roatan airport closed due to heavy rain. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's bare bones room, no coffee maker or safe, no elevator. We just needed a place not far from the airport for a quick one night stay. "

Pictures somehow make it all feel bigger even though they’re accurate. Neighborhood is bleak, and the few restaurants in the area happened to be closed all week for Easter."

"Beautiful apartment, clean and well stocked with dishes, utensils, and toiletries. There are little markets along the street and a large supermarket a few minutes drive away. We had a car during our stay so we were able to get to Belize city in about 15 minutes. I would definitely stay here again."
