"Camelot castle is a perfect location for Tintagel . A short walk into the village which although busy is lovely. The views from the hotel are breathtaking with a costal path direct to the small beach( check tidal times before you go) There is a lovely bar where we purchased drinks and sat outside and watches the sunset. The hotel decor is amazing and have a comfortable lounge to sit on. Our room was plenty big enough with sea view, bathroom had a bath and separate shower too and was spotless....
"Helpful staff and good amenities, however if you’re not part of a ‘Coach trip party’ then you’re totally sidelined at mealtimes as coach guests receive priority!
We stayed for 4 nights and when the coach party turn around happened, the dining room was totally rearranged to suit the new coach guests to the point we didn’t have a table for breakfast on the last day! (Although we’d been there 4 nights and were told that would be allotted to us) even our breakfast preorder form was lost so we...
"The hotel was comfortable and clean, the parking was perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and chatty they went out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
The on-site restaurant was lovely, the food was excellent.
Location was ideal, near to all the attractions. We found the local pub next door’s very friendly."

"The exterior of the hotel and grounds are poorly maintained and need to be tidied up. The lift to the bedrooms was grubby. The bedroom was pleasant with a nice view of the beach. The shower whilst adequate was poorly maintained in that the door rubber needed replacing which is quite a cheap thing to do but makes the shower look so much better."
"The property was nice, quite a walk from town, but that’s just how it is in Truro. My room was on the top floor and I had a lovely view of Truro Cathedral! While my shower was in the room, the toilet was across the hall. Not a big deal except there was a room right next to mine and I felt like I was disturbing them with early morning trip to the toilet and noisy doors. What I didn’t like was that all the outlets were at floor level, so the cord from the kettle couldn’t reach from the little...
"I’m local and had a friend staying with me. Stayed in several hotels in Newquay . This was by far the best. Will return every time..
As a local, also appreciate that they have things going on throughout the year – events and such like. Makes a big difference. Will be returning for those also and making a weekend of it."
"The ship is unique because of its position in mevagissey. The room was not spacious but adequate for our needs.
In the bathroom was a fairly new shower which was great apart from there was no place to put your soap or shampoo.
The breakfast was cooked to order and like the evening meals were excellent.
The pub has been taken over by a lovely couple called Alex and Noah and along with their attentive staff I believe they will make it a great success"
"Location of the hotel excellent. Bar and restaurant staff are very nice,helpful and friendly. Car parking provided within the premises was great. Only downside is the room needs a bit more uplift."
