"Standards have fallen at the Westleton Crown. Outside, several car park bays were inexplicably cordoned off so there was a shortage of available spaces. Inside there was a bucket catching a leak from a skylight in the main dining room. The corridor, staircase and bedroom carpets are dirty and worn. The seat in our WC fell off. Overall, the decor is old, tired and in urgent need of an uplift. We will certainly think carefully before booking the Crown again anytime soon, and we will certainly not...
"Our whole experience was so good from firstly entering the hotel with a most warm welcome from a young lady staff member. Our room was spotlessly clean, all the staff were warm and friendly, dining was excellent, all our meals were fresh and well presented.
All the staff worked hard and always offered their services if we required anything.

"Second time me and my wife have stayed at the white lion and it was no different to the first excellent place to stay clean room and great staff the only down side was the so called Indian restaurant sea spice very disappointing because it's not a genuine Indian restaurant. "It was nice to stay in an older building in the area to feel the historic charm, but the slanted hallways, stairs and uneven floor boards in the room took away from the charm and instead signaled a lack of investment. We spent most of our time outside the hotel so I can't really comment on the amenities."
"We had a fantastic few days away at the wentworth. Our room was over the road in villa/annex, very quiet large room with a lovely large bathroom and shower. Lovely little courtyard garden. The breakfast was very good. We a one meal in the restaurant which was amazing. Overall our stay was excellent and would we will definitely return. Would highly recommend"
