"Sadly, this review does not allow me to highlight some of the actual benefits of this property. The greeting was amazing the place as a fantastic façade and very inviting, but sadly, the rooms are very dated, and there is housekeeping products all over the floors. The rooms are extremely dated and the crew covers are disgusting and should be replaced immediately. It was what I required, which is absolutely location to the port for an early morning ferry. It did not help the strikes on time...

"The house was a lovely old Cretan house renovated to a high standard, and Popi was a wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable host - really friendly and full of suggestions of where to go next. You will need to have a car to get around as it is not at all central, and do not expect a modern building - but it was full of character and the aircon worked very well, so in my eyes it was perfect! I would happily stay here again, and hope to do so some day in the coming years."

"I enjoyed my vacation at Lyda Club Hotel. The room was so clean. The sheets and towels were changed every day. The food which was buffet style was pretty good. I liked the snack bar where they had barbecue almost every evening. Sometimes they had pasta. Overall, it was good and convenient. The staff is nice and friendly. I recommend it. "

"The owners were amazingly courteous, friendly, and professional. The property was beautiful and clean, and all staff were always willing to help in any way they could. The pool was always refreshing and relaxing, and there was a fully-stocked pool bar for drinks. Meals were served buffet style, and the dining area oversaw the pool. "We used Erato Hotel as a stop gap bfore going on to our booking in makry giolas, the hotel staff were very good and helped us locate a nice hire car. Very accomodating place with lots of lovely eateries not far on foot"

"We stayed in their Electra Villa which was luxuriously appointed with fantastic ocean and mountain views and facilities with a sauna, pool and sun loungers that is not overlooked for absolute privacy. A fabulous breakfast was brought to us by the host every morning consisting of salads melons and traditional Crete dishes and pastries all freshly prepared and cooked every morning.
