"We arrived late and physically tired. I was lining up at front desk for a while without any greetings. (At least giving us eye greetings to acknowledge that someone is waiting for check in or say ‘I will be right back with you , etc). Two front desk staff were helping a group of 4 guests. "Poor check in-after a 5 hour drive with 2 children and an elderly woman and our rooms were not ready. We were sent away from the property and told that the manager would text me when the room was ready, after an hour, we returned to the property and our rooms were ready but I had never gotten a text. This was not a good start. The rest of the stay was good, the rooms were clean. The buffet was ok but nothing available for gluten free needs."

"The room is spacious with beautiful interior design. I love the kitchen and the beddings are so comfortable. The breakfast is very good, too. It's close to tourist attractions in downtown Windsor. Overall, it's a nice hotel for travellers with young kids. The dining area is relatively small to accommodate many diners in the morning. The hotel can also provide information about how to park before our arrival."

"Both the staff and the amenities made me feel like I was at home. Doesn't get much better than that. The location in Walkerville an extra bonus. Wander around all the way to the river."
