Most of the resort is raised up into the treetops so you can be eye level with creatures you'd usually only see way above you from the ground. "Mariadelia welcomed us to the hotel with smoothies and refreshing towels. She was such an angel our whole stay. She anticipated our needs, answered our questions, and helped us book activities. I hope she gets paid highly because she certainly deserves it! We also loved talking with the bartender, Diego who was a sweetie. One of the chefs, Randall also came over and took a picture of me and my husband without us having to ask. Everyone on staff clearly works hard to upkeep this lovely getaway....
"I want to start by saying that my wife and I very much enjoyed our 7 day stay. With that said it's web site states that it is the only luxury resort on the beach which in our opinion is stretching the word luxury a bit. To us its luxury is not in the facility, which is a bit rustic, but rather the natural setting that surrounds it. Beautiful macaws, howler monkeys, iguanas, tapir, hawk, other wild life in the area, lush green environment and of course the sound of the beach surf all day long....
