"A beautiful building but in need of renovating, most of it was clean but a lot of high dust and cobwebs, the dining room was not clean at all, tables needed cleaning and food left uncovered with flies around, the staff was polite and friendly."
"I had a beautiful big double room looking out over the sea. Despite the hotel being busy, it was quiet and I slept amazingly well.
The staff were all very kind and helpful.
It was a few short steps to the peaceful beach and easy to walk into Skegness town centre.
I had a chip butty one night and it was huge! :)
Only downside would be the hill and stairs up to the entrance and room if you have limited mobility. Wasn’t enough hot water to fill the bath at night, but that could be due to...
"I always enjoy staying at this hotel however this was the first time I'd stayed in room 9, and I found the bed to bed quite firm. Apart from that no faults"
"A lovely quiet hotel. The room was enormous and had a brilliant TV.
I just need a quiet sleep and a base whilst visiting sites. This was a good find. Thankyou"
"A very clean hotel the staff were extremely helpful, friendly couldn’t do enough for you. The continental breakfast was ample with plenty of choice. The food was also very good for evening meal.
The front rooms could be noisy due to traffic. The hotel bar and restaurant is closed on Sunday night."
"Lack of staff you have to phone a number to talk to someone and there was no breakfast like it said bed and breakfast otherwise it was ok it had a nice shower"
"Clear instructions for entry to property. Met my host, Liz at breakfast. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Room was cosy and comfy, with a fridge and there's also a guest lounge. Good value"
"This hotel is ideally situated - close to the beach. Our room was very large with a kingsize bed. It also had a set of binoculars! The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Food and service were great. We parked outside the hotel, but there is lots of parking nearby."
"We had a difficult time getting checked in, as there was no one there when we arrived and my US phone had a hard time connecting to the posted UK number. But the owner arrived soon and everything was great! The restaurant is very unique with lots of antiques, and the food was fabulous! Breakfast was made to order and fabulous!! I highly recommend!"
"Lovely place and ideal for golf. Rebecca was very professional and a good laugh, which makes all the difference. The room was excellent, very clean, and nothing too much trouble. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be staying here again."
