"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was clean, very well-appointed, comfortable. and convenient to town, stores, restaurants, etc. Breakfasts were excellent. Owners are amazingly kind and accommodating. We will recommend this property anytime we can. "

Thermostat was set to off but one of the electric heaters was blasting heat. It was a very uncomfortably hot night with only one window open. Air conditioner was not installed. "Lovely older building with a new modern look and amenities. Our room was beautiful with serene views amidst the winter landscape. The lobby/lounge was warm and welcoming. We booked a hydrotherapy session and thoroughly enjoyed the use of the sauna and steam room. The food was amazing at the restaurant and the service was on point. The resort itself is quite remote, but during an unexpected winter storm it was the perfect retreat. "

There are two negative aspects: 1. proximity to the road so that it was noisy at times; 2. cleanliness was generally good though we collected a lot of sand when we swept the floors and the toilet seat had not been throughly cleaned."

"The room was dark and dingy and had pluming issues , not only are room but the entire resort to bad because the resort has a nice beech and beautiful view of the lake . I would have to say the rooms are tired and in need of an up date . Hey that's just my opinion but I have to say I've been there 4 times I guess it's the views and the call of the loons that get me every time ."
