"Great family room with separate bunk beds for the children. Brilliant breakfast and canapes and staff were great. Only downside was the hot water wasnt working very well so had coldish showers."
"Had a great stay. The room was big with a comfy king size bed. The food in the restaurant was fab and breakfast even better. The staff were very attentive and nothing was to much trouble"
"Excellent staff committed to ensuring that the Cliff Hotel is one of the best three star hotels. Consistently good over a number of visits I have made."
"Room was ok but no A/C and window could not be opened more than about 40 mm.
Fan supplied made a lot of noise at top speed but didn't move much air.
The rest was ok except for the tables in the area where we are breakfast whcih were slightly sticky. Food was ok (continental breakfast)."
"My colleagues who stayed there were appalled at the state of this place . The room was filthy and look at the state of the shower screen - covered in Algae .
The pictures on Hotels.com look good but probably taken
about 10 years ago when the place was last cleaned .
The boys were given another room but it was just as bad so they checked out without staying there at all. "
"First room they sent us to hadn’t been made up and stunk. No service throughout 4 night stay. No bar. No restaurant. Lift needs attention. No accessibility. Decor old and tatty. This was our second stay and gone downhill. Won’t be staying again. Expensive for facilities you got. Plus side, our one encounter with staff was pleasant and helpful. "
"Do not book here. It is closed and no one there. The owner has disappeared. I have reported to hotels.com and they need to be removed. I could not access and hotel was in darkness. Eventually got a refund but took ages to sort ! Avoid at all costs "
"From the outside the property had old style appeal and parking which was a positive however when taken to our room this was at the back of the property and you had to pass washing hanging online, a laundry shed and general toot and tat. The entrance to the stairway to the room went past the back of the kitchen where the door was permanently open so you heard all the usual professional kitchen noises.. The stairway to the room smelt of cooking fat and there were dead flowers on the window with...
"Helpful staff.
Sorted out parking.
Table broken in room.
Shower no pressure, dribbled out.
Room fan very poor, very little air coming out even at high speed.
Complimentary bodywash and shampoo so small not worth open the packed."
