"The hôtel location was excellent right downtown with tons of stores including grocery stores near by. The staff super friendly and the check in and out process was simply and fast. The breakfast was simply but fantastic - fresh, tasty. Highly recommend"

"The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were cute and cozy with private bathrooms and good heating. The breakfast was nice to have, especially in an expensive city that opens late. The 24 hour access to coffee tea and hot chocolate in the lobby was really comforting to have, especially with jetlag and being awake at odd hours. The location and the hotel felt safe. The only potential downside is that the hotel is on a main street so people walking by constantly are noisy but that didn't bother...

Es war sauber und geräumig, überall findet man das Vikinger Thema und den historischen Hintergrund der Unterkunft! Wir haben direkt im Hotel gegessen! Das Personal ist altertümlich gekleidet, das Essen war sooo lecker und während des Essen sang für uns noch ein toller Sänger! Für uns war es eine sehr gute Wahl dort zu nächtigen!"

"Great location with tons of restaurants and shops, as well as walkable to most tourist attractions. Loved the funky decor, hotel breakfast was ample and included a large variety of items. The sauna is also awesome! Comfortable bed, good water pressure too. My only complaint was no coffee in the room."

"Finding lodging in Iceland isn't easy on a budget. So when I saw this "relatively" low priced guesthouse, I must say I wasn't expecting much. What a great surprise it was! It couldn't have been any cleaner. No carpets anywhere (carpets in hotels are rarely fresh and clean). It was extremely quiet. There was a balcony. My friend and I were in a room with a shared bathroom and there were only 3 rooms sharing the bathroom. Walking out the front door the big church is just a block away and in full...
