Wood burning stove/ fireplace was nice touch for chilly evenings.Close to Murphys and The Calaveras Big Trees. We stayed for three nights and wished we would have stayed longer. "Good for 2 adults and one kid. The owner is very friendly and responsive. The 2nd floor is awesome with two large desks facing the outside, great if you need to work a little bit. We had lots of snow in the first two days! The first floor kitchen area is small and it is ok for some light cooking. But I wish the cookware was cleaner as there is.no dishwasher.
