"Booked a 1 night stay for myself and Husband. Booked a double bed 1 room ensuite. Got in there and it was a single bed, the carpet was full of large Circular dark stains. And black patches. And the bathroom/toilet, was down three flights of stairs, to accomodate 8 rooms. Went and Complained at reception, who rang the owner, she was told we only booked a single, yeah, right, come on he's 6 foot 2. Showed reception the booking conformation. "Having stayed at this hotel previously,we were hoping for a pleasant enjoyable stay as we had before. How wrong could we be, The room we were allocated was dirty so much so my partner went around the room with wet wipes to remove dust and filth from surfaces and mirrors.In the bathroom the lino flooring hadn't been mopped and the skirting boards haven't been cleaned for the past 6months I would say.The shower door leaks and the sealant around the bath is loose and as got black mould on it...The...

"Lovely welcoming staff. Friendly atmosphere. Well stocked bar with plenty of seating & a beer garden. Great cooked breakfast. Everywhere well cleaned. Good spacious room with a lovely comfy bed, kettle with tea/coffee etc. hairdryer, toiletries in bathroom. Nice hot shower. We would certainly recommend & will return for another stay. "
