"I had assumed incorrectly that Zanzistar was on the beach, so when I arrived, I was really disappointed. I felt claustrophobic in the garden which is surrounded on all sides by high fences. The beach bar which is a 5-minute walk away was underwhelming and there were lots of people smoking. Unless you lay in the front row, in the sun, you couldnt really enjoy the sea view. "The hotel has been rented to Egyptian guy. We got to the hotel and we were told we will be sharing a bathrooms with other guest. i advise the front desk clerk i made my reservation for room with a view and will not be sharing bathroom with other guest. The hotel in under new ownership and the Egyptian guy sits at the entrance watching the guest( very uncomfortable and creepy and he is a chain smoker). a skinny dark skinned guy.
