"The shower pod is literally in the room you sleep in at the bottom of the bed. I had no idea this was the case when booking as I’ve never known anything like it! There is zero privacy! The reception staff aren’t very friendly and the service overall is just lacking what you would normally expect from a 4 star hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this place nor would I stay here again! "It was in the heart of the canals in Amsterdam and we had a great view of the boats, the hustle & bustle, the cyclists, etc. It was quite pricey at $600 per night, I am not sure if we would stay there the next time as we only stayed for 2 days. Longer would be too expensive for us."

"This was our 2nd time staying at this hotel since we had such a positive experience the first time around. It’s located in an excellent location, very walkable, and the staff are very nice and helpful. The rooms are quiet and modern with great views. Beds are comfortable. The bathroom is small. The staff left nice welcoming touches in our room to acknowledge we are returning guests, which was a great touch! "
