"Professional, kind, responsive staff. In good weather, lovely to sit outside along a short canal with a drink or a bite. Love the self-service scanner for 24/7 availability of simple snacks and drinks. Bistro and Japanese restaurant for dining choices. The restaurant was good but a little expensive. Appreciate eco-awareness here. Location: easy access to Zuid, which takes you anywhere. In room: spacious with a nice chair and ottoman for reading. Great sound insulation. HVAC a gentle quiet whisper at night. Fantastic soaking tub and good water pressure in shower. Firm, comfortable mattress. FWIW: I believe a promo photo showed in-room Nespresso (I bought capsules for that reason). My room had only a teapot and instant coffee. I usually stay in a variety of AirBnBs in Amsterdam, but wanted to try this area of town. Very happy with this hotel and would look forward to a return. "
