An earthquake in 1763 ruined the church of Zsámbék. It was not reconstructed after this horrific event. Settlers took the stones from the church and used them for building houses and fences. Many of the church's stones are still present in the walls of older houses.

"A top class hotel. Staff are genuinely welcoming and there is an effortlessly relaxing vibe about the whole hotel. Great breakfast selection and not overly crowded dining room along with superb rooms with wonderfully comfortable beds make this a must stay in Budapest. The rooftop swimming pool is a brilliant addition and a unique way to relax in the middle of the city. "

"The hotel was very nice, with its lovely rooms and European vibes. The beds are comfortable, the shower has decent water pressure and the rooms are quiet. We had a family connecting room, very convenient access for the kids. Breakfast is great with several options and unlimited coffee!
