"We had a great stay at the No. 5 Valley Lodge! The staff are very accommodating and welcoming. The hotel is located very close to the West Entrance of the park and offers rides to the entrance on days you wish to explore. On our day at the resort, there were fun activities organized by the hotel, a beautiful pool overlooking the valley, and rice fields you could walk along! If we ever return to Zhangjiajie, we will be sure to return!"

"Zhangjiajie is a city where western tourists are strange to see. These hotel has the requirements to satisfy our wishes. The staff is always nice in spice of the fact they don't speak English very well. The room very clean. They change towers every day. We love the bathroom. Only to recommend, breakfast should include yogurts, cheese, and ham. This kind of breakfast is what western torist are used to have."

"Shower drain was a little slow. Room was overall clean and well maintained. Room key lock mechanism failed on 2nd day of 3 night stay. But the problem was fixed fairly quickly. The location was good. We were pleased overall. "

" Ok, there is both good and bad with this Hotel. Let's start out with the good. The price was good. The room was clean. The room looked nice. The décor was nice. The view from the Balcony in my room was nice, but the view really depended on the weather. if the weather was bad, you could not see the mountains and were just stuck seeing other buildings It had hot water and decent water pressure. "Very nice hotel in the mountains with a good view. The hotel was decorated very nice for Christmas. The indoor swimming pool is not open year round like I thought though and the restaurants close earlier during non-peak travel season so rely on room service if you want food late (it was good food)."
