"Lovely stay"

"Nice location, good staff and fab food"

"Due to age of building plus isolation it had some unique qualities but the staff were all lovely and the stay was enjoyable."

"Good place"

"Staff both on reception and in the dining room were helpful, although at dinner we had to wait a long time before the food arrived. The main problem was that although the hotel wasn’t fully booked we were given a room (room 7) right on the very noisy road, over the bar and the outdoor festoon lights were on all night which filtered into the room. "Everything was great! Thank you! 😁"

"Great room and loved the vibe and atmosphere!"

"Great old inn and a great central location! Wonderfully historic building. Great dining and amazing breakfast!"

The restaurant still set up for wedding, with chairs stacked up.The female staff in the restaurant were very nice and the food excellent, something a bit different. Our shower head kept falling down & the toilet flush handle broken. The room was spotlessly clean."

"I only stayed one night but I was very happy with the hotel."
