The property is 600 years old. It doesn’t get more historic than that. What a fun and amazing experience. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and our room was clean and spacious and perfect for a little getaway.

Built in 1492 or thereabouts, it is a building of a certain time. Doorways are low, floors a little uneven etc. Not unsafe but one needs to take care. Bed very comfortable and bathroom very good.

We had a very nice stay at the Sign of the Angel. Even though the room was not very big, it had all we needed. It was a different experience. We wanted to stay in place with history, wooden beams and character and we definitevely got that - as well as comfort. The food was amazing, very gourmet, and the staff were fantastic. Super nice and helpful! The hotel has a lovely garden area where you can eat or drink outdoors. Loved it!
