"Lovely pub with friendly staff. Room was delightful, although I wish I'd read the description better as didn't realise the bath meant no shower, also a bit of a climb if you want the kingsize bed. Bed was comfy and thankful for the bottles of water provided and great coffee bags. Food in the evening was excellent, a few things weren't on the menu due to a delivery not arriving, but it didn't matter as what we had was delicious. "The room was nice, good layout, and the sofa area in the conservatory and outdoor space was a bonus. And it was quiet too, which I was worried about as it's a pub. The room wasn't super clean, there were dead bugs and stuff. And some of the room felt tired and tatty. But that wouldn't stop me staying again. However, the biggest issue was there is no wifi in the rooms, and the phone signal isn't great. As I was there to work it was a problem. "

"Good location, staff is friendly and welcoming, our check in hostess Phoebe was very helpful. Can be very noise up until 1am due to events over the weekend. Basic amenities like shower gel/ body wash missing. Rooms are a bit on the smaller end and can have better cleanliness"

"A ideal canal side pub/restaurant with cabin style accommodation. We had a double bed with ensuite shower room The bed was clean and comfortable, tv and wifi with good signal. Gardens with seating and play area with views over the Grand Union canal and moorings. No breakfast service but recommdation for a nearby cafe. Good value for money."

"Very clean but a little worn in places .it was expected for basic price staff were all pleasant and help full home cooked food was excellent . We were a little concerned that there may be a bit of noise from pub but was very quiet . Breakfast left in our room was great idea and good choice with milk and yogurt kept in fridge .
