Run down, shabby, carpets are filthy, paint peeling off the walls. In fairness the bed was comfortable. I didn't take breakfast as I was worred about the cleanliness of the place. Chose to eat out at a different pub. It's a big place, with potential, but it's being run on a shorestring staff and needs some investment.

Great place.

Lovely pub/restaurant, very homely, well decorated, tidy, clean. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Bit short staffed but those that worked out in extra effort so the level of service was still good.

Old, dated, dingy, mouldy bathroom, dark lighting, arrived and both radiators were flat out so room was stuffy and hot, windows only open a jar so took ages to cool down. Corridor smelt like wee! Won’t be returning there.

I’m coming back.

Room basic, clean, tea and coffee, kettle in room. Nice view, ample parking. Brilliant for the price. Food in restaurant excellent, good prices. Breakfast superb.

We found all the staff we dealt with to be very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good. Room and beds were very good. The only thing that wasn't quite as good was the bathroom. Lovely new tiles but paintwork needed doing. Otherwise an enjoyable overnight stay.
