Eastern Water Dragons are fairly common in SE Queensland and can be found sunning themselves by local rivers and creeks, or in this case, in the beautiful gardens of the Spirit House in Yandina. The Thai food here is soooo delcious! They also take cooking classes if you are keen to learn the house secrets. It is about an hour and a half drive north of Brisbane in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

"This is a terrific accommodation option (Hawaii Apartments). The apartment was massive and of course all self contained with everything that you'd need. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very spacious. The room was very clean and the balcony overlooking the pool area was a great day sleep area in the beautiful sun. Thank you to the staff who made our stay truly comfortable and the courtesy bus made life easier. Would certainly recommend and will stay again."
