"Amazing property by a river. It’s a little bit of a challenge to figure out how to get around by train, but it is possible. The breakfast buffet was incredibly good and leisurely and enjoyable for us as a family traveling to meet other family that has relatives in Japan. Highly recommend this location."

"A wonderful traditional ryokan. Clean, with private onsens you can use twice per day (or more). Very friendly staff. Highly recommend! Tip: take a taxi from the train station, it is a 15 min walk but very uphill. Also, for fine dining you can walk 10 minutes to the Hyatt that has two nice restaurants incl. sushi. "

"The rooms are small for our family of 4, so I decided to book another room. They are so nice to put our rooms on the same floor even if it is a last minute additional room booking. The breakfast is really good and healthy. The area is close to the bridge where you can see the beautiful Mt Fuji unless it is cloudy. There’s bike rental close to the hotel and you can bike in the area esp to the bridge. My family enjoyed our stay in the hotel. "
