"It had a feeling of being at a B&B, the owners can be seen during breakfast time, making sure his guest are pleased with their stay! The staff was very accommodating. One can ask to see the private art of Mr Elfred Lee, besides seeing some of his work on display around the hotel! For those who want to enjoy a small walk to downton Xalapa this is a great location and it is very quiet area!"

"My partner and I stayed at Colombe Hotel for almost a month and we enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were exceptional and friendly, the food was delicious and at a decent price (with free fresh breakfast everyday until 10AM!), and we had a nice room with a comfortable bed. For those who love to swim, there is also a nice pool area with seating and shared space available as well. Overall, we loved our stay at Colombe Hotel and we will definitely be coming back! "

"Check in was friendly and efficient. Room spacious and comfortable. Plenty of showers and toilets. Decent breakfast and kitchen space for guest use. Cute outside space with an adorable family of rabbits. Hostel is located centrally so really easy to find and get out to explore Xalapa and surrounding area. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay on a budget. "
