"Very nice cottage in quiet location with room opening onto garden with lots of bird song. Snug with TV is very comfortable. Parking spot just outside cottage. Well appointed kitchen. Location is good for access to portland, but going elsewhere requires travelling through Weymouth which can be slow."

"It is a marvelous boutique hotel, well located and excellent service. The hotel has a theme that inspires every corner. The owners are very welcoming and serve a delicious breakfast to all guests every morning. The rooms have air conditioning and were very clean. Happy to stay there."

"We chose the hottest days of the year to stay so the room was boiling, fortunately we took a fan with us but the owner also gave us another too. The room was perfectly adequate for our needs good shower but the toilet flush was slow, plenty of tea/coffee. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner. Easy breakfast idea in dining room lots of choice (but no cooked) we knew b4 so never worried us. I thought it was good value for the money more than happy. Big bonus there was parking and 10 min walk...

"2nd stay, house on a side road just up from the harbour with free parking if you are lucky, but parking nearby is £6.30 in a car park very close if you are unlucky and cannot park outside. House is comfortable without being stuffy, has all mod cons and a small backyard for smokers or eating breakfast on a warm day. No doubt we will return in the near future."

Black bits on the bed . milk splashes on the wall socket and on the little drew the tea was in . VERY hot in the room and hotel . Lovely coffee from the coffee shop . Bath room lovely and clean nice soap and shower gel . Plenty of towels . Lovely helpful staff . Breakfast was ok . Lift dirty . no beach view we had a brick wall for a view . "Room was clean when we arrived, Staff was very helpful with the room and parking of my car, it was a bit of a walk from the main town but this did not put us off. Sea views when we come out the hotel was lovely specially when the sun was out. 👍"

"This property is full of character and interest. There is a lounge with an honesty bar, also a small fridge with bottles of real milk that you can help yourself to. Outside there is a terrace where you can sit and enjoy the sun and watch the harbour side activity. Our room wasn’t large but had all you needed for a comfortable stay, although I would have liked a small hand towel. However the room we were in (an upgraded room) was over the kitchen and every morning at 7am something started up and all we could hear was the hum of it which is annoying when you would like a lie in. "Stayed here as needed to stay in or around Weymouth. Quite frankly, the fee paid for the room was poor value. The hotel was clean, but dated. The rooms need renewing. That said, all the hotels in Weymouth were extremely expensive so it wasn’t anymore than any of the others, which is why I ended up staying here anyway… not sure if there was an event or something in the area at that time pushing up prices…"
