Room a bit dated and got woken up at 6am by a pump in room cupboard not good
Excellent pub food and very welcoming staff. The room was quite comfortable once we got it warmed up but some attention should be given to the doors so that they open and close more easily and perhaps add some lighting on the stairs. These are small in the overall scheme of things though. The breakfast at the nearby farm shop was outstanding.
Excellent accommodation option in a beautiful village near to Weymouth - would highly recommend.

Breakfast in farm store that only opened at 9am but oven not working and coffee machine not primed so limited breakfast choice and long wait. Not great.
Lovely room, way too hot though, had to tuen off the towel radiator & open the windows. Nice evening meal, service was a bit slow as there were two large tables & I was on my own
A picturesque Dorset pub with very comfortable rooms. I had dinner at the pub which was great, plus included breakfast at cafe round the corner which was also delicious. I hope to be back again soon
Everything was great, the room, the food and the pub. The staff were friendly, polite and friendly. The only problem was the breakfast didn’t start until 8am which is a little late for a business traveller but amazing cooked to order breakfast. Will definitely come back.
Good location for the footpath access in the Chesil Beach area.

Nice short stay
Kings arms is a lovely place rooms where big and clean internet tv was no good at all
Food was ok but expensive and a long wait
Easy to get into Weymouth which is what we wanted.
Breakfast was in a cafe around the corner so not on site but it was lovely
Staff very friendly and helpful. Evening meals were very good. Breakfast at nearby cafe (included in price) also good.
The problems were with the Jurassic room we stayed in. The heating didn't work so they gave us a portable heater. The guest wi-fi signal didn't reach the room; even in the main building my laptop kept dropping out because of security issues. The glass shower door was very difficult to open, with no guidance to assist.
Lovely village setting for the pub. The accommodation comprises 3 rooms across a single storey extension to the pub. Nice and quiet. Great for a short stay. Breakfast is at the nearby farm shop/cafe just a couple of minutes walk. Food was fresh and tasty. Evening meal in the pub was equally nice. Plenty of inside and outside seating with a large decking area and a lawned area.

Room
Pub and staff faultless, room carpet badly stained with i don't know what. There was a hole i the bathroom floor and the shower head just sprayed everywhere.
We were met by a very helpful young man who handed us the room key and carried my wife's bag for her. That was the last we saw of any staff apart from bar staff.
The linen and toilet were clean but the room was dirty. Cobwebs from the ceiling, dirty lampshade, a chair I would not sit on, dirty carpet and mould around the bottom of the ensuite and shower. All photographed in case of dispute.

This could be an amazing place you guys are so chilled and lovely.
But the room smelt damp and there was water on the bathroom floor for 24hours with my asthma that didn’t help and the carpet needs either replacing or a deep clean but apart from that the room was very modern and could be amazing with a bit of tlc.
Room dark and dirty cobwebs every corner of the room shower didn't work windows could do with a good clean advertised as luxury accommodation needs complete refit

Great manager -great bar staff -food nice . It’s such a pity the rooms are worn and neglected . Shower door sticks , walls have holes in them and need repainting throughout , window frames rotting , curtains worn and stained . It would not take much to refurb them but the care and attention given in the pub is not reflected in the rooms
The room smelt damp, curtains mouldy and falling off rail, seems to have been reported in may and nothing changed, could have done with a freshen up before we arrived, comfortable bed, good shower, just needed some extra care and attention, mattress protector stained,

The property is very dated and looking a little tired. The carpets had stains everywhere and there was a distinct smell of mold and damp. The bathroom floor showed signs of water ingress. From.door.and frame rotting and lock not secure. Door could easily be forced open if a theif was to visit! On a possitove, the pub was lovely, good food and the breakfast shop in the morning was excellent. Overall disappinted given the cost of £270 for 2 nights, bit it was a necessity. Would be unlikely to visit again.
On arrival not overly welcome reception (in bar). Room window open hence room damp and cold had to ask for extra heater to get rid of dampness, also asked for blanket for bed as duvet considered inadequate due to conditions, we were questioned why we wanted blanket, they reluctantly provided a single duvet as no blankets available. Biggest gripe was that breakfast is served remote location, cafe round the corner (250 yards approx) in the rain not pleasant experience. food was ok but not as you would expect for hotel breakfast. first morning room servicing bed not made. Location of rooms (not attached to hotel) walk to rooms through section of garden dark under trees rustic steps unlit and dangerous also unlit path to car park there are lights in place but just not switched on. It appears that the hotel is only manned during pub opening hours so if you have any queeries you have wait for pub to open, then they are bar staff who are not sure about hotel problems. Overall a disappointing stay. Hotel is definitely not worthy of the 4 star rating as advertised decor is dated it may have been ok when it was updated in 2014 but that was 10 years ago, i dont think anything has been done since. Once again biggest gripe REMOTE BREAKFAST this is not mention on the web sites we would not have booked if we had known.
