"My door didn't lock and none of the staff could help. They couldn't move me to another room, and they have no maintenance support. I had to barricade myself in with furniture. Hotel looks nice, the restaurant is great, breakfast was delicious, but if you don't feel safe, then everything else is over looked."

"We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The staff were all very welcoming and accommodating throughout. The grounds and rooms are well maintained and food in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast were prepared to a very high standard. The only thing I would mention is that there is a breakfast buffet advertised by Expedia; flagging that this is only for continental and the hot food is made to order (I imagine because it is a smaller amount of rooms than a larger property, so reduces waste and improves quality control), just to avoid any disappointment for those who prefer to choose themselves how many items/type of hot food they prefer. However, as above, the quality of the breakfast was excellent and there were plenty of options to suit all palates and a range of dietary requirements."

"We had a fantastic holiday staying at The Parlour. Annette and Jerry were very welcoming and we really appreciated the extra touches, especially the list of recommended pubs/restaurants in the area - very helpful! The cottage had everything we needed and more and was very comfortable.Location was fantastic, we visited Eastbourne, Hastings, Brighton and Rye and would recommend them all. Absolutely fantastic holiday."

"Fiona met us at the property she was extremely attentive and thoughtful. She made th bungalow very welcoming adding extra supplies like a box of chocolate wine and nosh! We got a new minibus service which takes you 13 miles wherever you want. We also found local taxis very helpful. Absolutely lovely bungalow quiet and nice neighbours. Thank you Fiona."
