"This property was absolutely clean and spotless! Everything we needed for a weekend getaway was easily accessible. The hostess provided clear and concise communication ahead of and during our stay. We were first time VRBO guests so we were a little nervous. However, everything in terms of accuracy with descriptions, communication with our hostess, and the relaxing environment of the Nantahala quickly calmed our minds. I highly recommend this property. Absolutely AMAZING!"

"The location is beautiful. The house was clean. kayaking and canoeing on the lake was amazing. Also rented a boat one morning to tour the tree beautiful waterfalls on the lake. The only issue would have been parking, however the owner was very accommodating. It's best if your able to park your vehicle inside the garage. Great lake front location with beautiful towns nearby."

"So, I booked our room back in September, October of 2021. Between then and when our trip was, the property changed owners. Apparently, there was a bit of a mixup with the booking and the whole lodge was booked for a reunion. We get there to check in, and not only do they still accommodate us, despite the mixup, they gave us an upgrade for no extra charge. We were staying for our anniversary and were absolutely thrilled with everything. We will definitely visit again in the future."
