"The location is beautiful. The house was clean. kayaking and canoeing on the lake was amazing. Also rented a boat one morning to tour the tree beautiful waterfalls on the lake. The only issue would have been parking, however the owner was very accommodating. It's best if your able to park your vehicle inside the garage. Great lake front location with beautiful towns nearby."

There is a fenced in yard at this cabin perfect for a dog to explore. There is a barn and fenced area for the two horses. "Booking was easy, Miss Dee sent all information needed for when we arrived. The home was cozy and quiet. The porch was nice to have coffee and watch the Deer , Squirrels and Groundhogs playing in the yard. We dug for Rubies at Cowee gift shop at Mason Mountain Mine about 10 minutes away. We went to the museums in town which the kids Lives, . We drove over to Cashiers to the sliding rock for a day of fun and then on to Cherokee living village. . "So, I booked our room back in September, October of 2021. Between then and when our trip was, the property changed owners. Apparently, there was a bit of a mixup with the booking and the whole lodge was booked for a reunion. We get there to check in, and not only do they still accommodate us, despite the mixup, they gave us an upgrade for no extra charge. We were staying for our anniversary and were absolutely thrilled with everything. We will definitely visit again in the future."
