"The location of the hotel was excellent for the train station and town centre The room probably needs updating the bathroom especially had a noisy extractor fan and the bath was flimsy. Lovely spa and breakfast was nice to"

"Fabulous location central to everything. Superb restaurants next to the hotel.. spoilt for choice!! Also breakfast at the hotel itself was loverly… the choice was amazing from fresh fruit, cereals, pastries and cooked breakfasts. Staff and receptionists were very helpful and loverly and went above and beyond to make my birthday stay special!"

"We've stayed in this hotel quite a few times now while competing at the Telford Centre. It's a great base as it's right next door to the Arena. The receptionist was really lovely and helpful. The room was ok, shower was cold for ages and then boiling hot,we couldn't regulate it at all, it was really weird! Breakfast wasn't amazing, no proper fresh fruit (only fruit salad), no fresh pastries, but good english breakfast (eggs/beans/bacon). Overall,wewill stay there again as very convenient and rooms are fine."

"I stayed at Crowne Plaza Chester for the races and found it to be a bit of a mixed experience. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for exploring Chester. The restaurant was lovely, and the breakfast was particularly good with a great selection of food. The reception areas and public toilets were also clean, well-presented, and gave a good first impression. Unfortunately, the rooms let the hotel down. They are in need of modernisation, with dated furniture and décor that feels tired compared to the rest of the property. Some of the plug sockets in the room didn't work, which was frustrating, and the shower pressure was very weak, making it difficult to enjoy a proper shower. Overall, the hotel benefits from a fantastic location, good food, and well-maintained public areas, but the rooms would greatly benefit from refurbishment and some attention to maintenance issues."
