The Space:

Endeavour Sails boasts an open plan kitchen, living and dining area. A bright, yet cosy look is achieved with a neutral colour palette and minimalist styling. Perfect for relaxing, the living area features a brown leather sofa and chair and a flat screen Smart TV. Pop your favourite drink in the wine cooler and after a busy day, you can relax in stylish surroundings, catching up with your favourite shows or chatting with your loved ones.



Also sharing this space is the kitchen and dining area. Ultra sleek, the kitchen has light cabinets with a tiled splashback. Fully equipped for self-catering stays, modern appliances and cookware are provided for your convenience. The dining area seats two guests and is perfectly placed for watching the world go by from the large bay window.



Continue along the apartment and you’ll find the bedroom. Sleeping up to two guests, the bedroom includes a king size bed along with a wardrobe and bedside drawers. The calm colour palette, black-out curtains and luxurious linens will aid a peaceful night sleep.



The bathroom in Endeavour Sails comes in the form of an ensuite and features a walk-in shower, WC and vanity basin with adjustable LED mirror.

Guest Access:

Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to Endeavour Sails are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to your stay.



Free on-street parking is available nearby on a first come, first served basis. Please not that Endeavour Sails does not have access to an on-site parking space.



The Neighborhood:

The centre of Whitby, and Whitby Harbour are just a short walk from Endeavour Sails, so it’s ideal if you want to experience what life is like living by the sea.



Head to Pier Road and you’ll find cosy pubs, fun arcades and plenty of fish restaurants. Continue along the lively road until you reach the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach which is lined with idyllic beach huts. At the other end of Pier Road, you’ll notice the swing bridge which sits over the River Esk.



Over the bridge, you’ll find yourself on the East bank which is full of narrow medieval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and fish restaurants. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.



Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby lies on the edge of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.



Getting Around:

The centre of Whitby is a short ten-minute walk from Endeavour Sails.



Whitby train station is less than half a mile away so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.



There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
