"The property is nice with lovely service. The rooms are small and a bit dated. It drives me a little nuts when hotels say they have a gym but they don’t. All the machines were broken and didn’t work. It was just a junk room not a gym. Wouldn’t take much but I guess they don’t care. "

"Spent two nights here while attending the passchendaele 100 memorial events and I was pleasantly surprised how large and comfortable the room was, especially the bathroom which was huge. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of good quality coffee hot croissant's and fruit bread. We booked an evening meal on the second night and it really was fantastic, the locally produced steak was cooked to perfection and cray fish starters were delicious. This is a family run hotel and it's abundantly clear ...

"A nice hotel which was conveniently located for the family. The room had two double beds which was a great size for us however the bathroom was very tired looking and wasn’t that clean. Staff were friendly but not only helpful with free maps of the city, recommendations or directions to their dinning area. It is little things like this which would make me rate the hotel 5 stars. Otherwise this hotel is worth the money, great for families and ideally located. "
