"Great host, great evening meal (excellent value). A really nice owner who’s got a great little b&b there. Only one criticism though it maybe just me and my work colleague, the breakfast should be self service, or at least give that option. Highly recommended."

"I had a great stay, Debbi made me feel really welcome and could not do to much for me."

"Was greeted on arrival and shown amenities and room , very pleasant and warm welcome. The entire place was so clean and fresh and had a warm atmosphere. The room was great , free tea,coffee etc, and shower gel,shampoo, conditioner. Bed was really comfortable and had a good night sleep. Clean throughout and up to date decor .Tv was nice to watch before sleeping. The shower was nice in the morning. And the breakfast was so tasty , really cooked well and the sample of fruit was a nice touch , just enough to wake the stomach.The host was and still is great, very attentive and polite. The selection of food is good aswell as the juices and cereal/pastries , also tea and coffee. Overall what a lil gem of a place , the entire staff and place is highly recommended and i wish them continued success and happiness. 😁👍"

"Fabulous, our room 402 had a huge balcony with views over the estuary and of the pier. Staff were very friendly and attentive, evening meal of sharing steak was cooked exactly as we like it and breakfast was also very nice, highly recommend the full English for the hungry or sausage muffin. The location is also great, up on the cliff away from the noise but only a short walk to the lift and no more than 5 minutes walk to the pier. My only suggestions to make this perfect would be to make a little more of the balconies with some high end table and chairs and some instructions for the shower, first use was interesting :) Thank you for making our break in Southend stay wonderful."

"property located in a quiet residential area located at 20 minutes walk from town centre .property is a bid dated and could do with a bit more cleaning .no much water coming for the shower ,bed and sofa bed very uncomfortable and we had a cockroach visiting while we were there .we found a trap under the sink in toilet therefore business must be aware of issue. not many choices for a family room in the area especially at last minute but we won’t return in this hotel "
