"Do not get put in rm 237. The pool pump keeps you awake all night and to make it worse recemption knows about it ???? Forget the bar for meals. I was forgotten the first night, over an hour for fish and chips and onky got them because i went back up to the bar and asked where it was. Second night they did the same to someone else but got meal wrong as well. He asked for his money back. But they then tried to give me his dinner that had sat on the bar for 5 mins. I hadnt even sat down when they tried to serve it me. The barstaff even argued with me whrn i refused it. Fawlty towers. I got a garage sandwich the next night to be safe ! The hotel room was great when i got moved. Very comfortable and gym, pool etc great. With nice staff. "

"Absolutely disgusting. First of all our room number was announced loudly across reception and the bar. Given we were two females and everyone nearby was male was inappropriate and dangerous. Supposed to have a twin room but was given a ground floor double that stunk of raw sewage. First complaint was made. Offered to move us rooms and once again announced our room number to everyone. Second room also a double that had the horrific sewage smell. Completely inhabitable. Told them we were not staying there and left. Would never book"

"I attended for a Business Network meeting and stayed overnight at the hotel. I was in room 141, which was clean and comfortable. However, there was no natural light into the room and the lighting in the room is poor. The curtains were ill fitting and let the light in through the night from outside lighting. After the business network meeting, went into the bar area to get a drink and no members of staff were present, nor at reception. It was like a ghost town. On my way to my room bumped into 3 members of staff who let me know they were heading back to the reception/bar/restaurant area. At this point it was getting late, so had a drink, ordered a pizza to take and eat in my room."
